    • St. Ives Apricot Scrub (sometimes contains parabens depending on region).

2. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

What it is: A surfactant used in cleansers and shampoos to create foam.

Why it’s bad: Strips the skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness, irritation, and flare-ups in people with sensitive skin.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser.

CeraVe Foaming Cleanser (in certain versions/formulas).

3. Alcohol (Denatured)

What it is: A common ingredient used to help products dry quickly.

Why it’s bad: Dries out the skin, damages the skin barrier, and causes irritation over time.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence (older formulations contained alcohol).

4. Fragrance/Parfum

What it is: Added scent in products.
